Frequently Asked Questions

Why invest in a Wedding Film?

You’ve contemplated and planned every little detail of your wedding day. So much time, preparation, effort and money has been put into making your wedding day special. Capturing all those details on film is something you will never regret. While photography is very important, our wedding films capture the fun, emotion, and inspiring moments that make up your wedding day… using sight, sound, and motion. It’s a film you, your friends and family will actually want to see over and over.

What is the Wedding Film?

The Wedding Film is a 5-7 minute cinematic glimpse into the details of your day.  We capture all the moments of your day, choosing the best of the best for this cinematic wedding film.  We spend as much time as is necessary choosing the right music and the most touching moments… and editing them into a beautiful film that you will enjoy watching over and over again.

What is the documentary edit?

The documentary edit is a rough edit of your entire day.  It will usually run between 60-90 minutes and will include raw getting ready moments, your ceremony, and reception highlights (including full toasts, dances, etc). Click here for an example of a documentary edit.

Do you require a deposit?

For local weddings, we require a $500 non-refundable retainer to reserve your wedding date (balance due 14 days prior to wedding date).  For Out-of-State and International weddings, we require a 50% non-refundable retainer (balance due 14 days prior to wedding date).

When will you receive your film?

We try to deliver your Wedding Film within four months, depending on the season.  We try our best to have this to you as soon as possible, however.  We’d rather over-deliver and get it to you earlier… rather than under-deliver and give it to you late. 😉

What about Out of State or International Weddings?

We will travel anywhere, anytime to participate in your special day!

What equipment do you use?

We’ve upgraded our A & B cameras for the 2016 season to Canon C100 Mark IIs. These are paired with a couple of Canon 5D Mark IIIs and a Canon 70D. We also make use of various sliders, a glidecam, stabilizing gimbal, a drone for aerial footage (weather-permitting), and a multitude of high quality lenses. It takes a lot of gear to make your film happen, but more importantly… it takes dedication and passion from our team.
