The Documentary Wedding Edit - Sublime Wedding Films | Wedding Videography

Our most frequently asked question during a consultation is, “What exactly is a documentary edit? While we shoot with the 5-7 minute Wedding Film in mind, we know that you want all the special moments of your day. The documentary wedding edit is the long form version of your wedding video. It is usually between 60 and 90 minutes long, and features moments from bridal prep, the groomsmen getting ready, the full ceremony, and all reception highlights, including full toasts, first dances, cake cutting, bouquet toss, and anything else you have planned.

While the Wedding Film is a polished video, ready to share with your friends and family on Facebook, parts of the documentary edit will be a bit more raw. You may notice the camera whips around sometimes. That’s because we don’t want to miss anything important for the Wedding Film, but we also want to give you a more complete glimpse of your day.
